Named after the mountains to the west of Tulbagh, this suite is part of our heritage collection. Period features of yellow wood floors, beamed ceilings, chandeliers and extra length king size four poster bed. It has a cosy fireplace with arm chairs and NFC Bluetooth sound bar to enjoy your own music collection. The luxurious bathroom has a shower for two and contemporary bath. Step outside into an indigenous garden with plunge pool, which leads to historic Church Street.

Named after a mountain to the west of Tulbagh, this luxurious contemporary suite is situated in the main hotel. It features an extra length king size bed which can be split into twin beds. There is a cosy fireplace with comfortable arm chairs, and an NFC Bluetooth sound bar to enjoy your own music collection. A dressing area leads to the bespoke bathroom, with double shower and romantic bath. Relax on the deck with a glass of award winning Saronsberg wine.

Our Sugarbush Protea room has an extra length king size four poster bed, and charming period features of yellow wood floors, beamed ceiling and chandeliers. This room has been discreetly designed to also be wheelchair accessible, with wider doorways and a wet room bathroom, with bath and shower.

Two contemporary rooms, all offering luxurious accommodation with bath and spacious shower. The extra length king size beds can also be split into twins. One room also have sofa beds, which are ideal for parents with young children.

If comfort and space are a priority then these two contemporary rooms, adjacent to the main pool, are the answer. They feature extra length king size beds, which can be split into twin beds. They have comfortable lounge and dressing areas with sofas, and luxurious shower rooms. There is a private terrace ideal for relaxing with a book and a glass of local wine.

These five period rooms are part of our heritage collection, and are located adjacent to the main hotel, in the Winterhoek Manor (1813) and the Toll House (1809). Stroll out into indigenous gardens with pools, leading onto historic Church Street. These charming period rooms feature chandeliers, traditional yellow wood floors and beamed ceilings, with extra length king size four poster beds, adorned with fine cotton linen. All rooms feature luxurious showers, one of which was ingeniously incorporated into the original inglenook fire place.
