Markon River Lodge

The River Camp (x5)
Consists of five self-catering units, which are mostly used by families. Sleeping six, each chalet has two en-suite bedrooms. A lapa, bar and kitchen provides space enough for families or a group of friends. Each unit has a coffee station, a fridge, kettle, hot plate and microwave.

Tree Lodge (x1)
A unique experience! Three log cabins perched above the Wilge River with private deck/lounge with walkway to spacious bathrooms. Perfectly situated thatch rooms, built in the treetops with a magnificent view and deck almost right on the river. There are three log cabins share a kitchen and a braai and there are two bathrooms between the three rooms. Each unit has a coffee station, a fridge, kettle, hot plate and microwave.

Kiepersol De Lux Chalets (x4)
Has four river view chalets with a fireplace for those cozy African winter nights and are ideal for couples that want to spend some romantic time alone. There is a shared kitchen and braai area available for guest use. Each unit has a coffee station, a fridge, kettle, hot plate and microwave.

Kiepersol Standard Chalets (x10)
The camp offers ten chalets, sleeping two guests each. Ten chalets sleeping two each with fully equipped lapa. Maximum bed capacity of 20. Kudu lapa is fully equipped with braai and refrigerators. Each unit has a coffee station, a fridge, kettle and microwave.

Kingfisher Deluxe Chalet (x1)
King Fisher is a smaller private unit. Ideal for a couple or even a parent couple with a child. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the lounge has a double sleeper couch. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. Each unit has a coffee station, a fridge, kettle, hot plate and microwave.

River Villa 1 (x1)
River Villa 1 is an 8 sleeper house consisting of 2 Bedrooms, 1 Loft area, 2 Bathrooms, Kitchen and Dining area, Lounge and Veranda. The full kitchen is fitted with a gas stove, microwave and fridge. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and en-suite shower. Bedroom 2 also has a king size bed. The Loft Area upstairs consists of 4 single beds, over looking the stylish and comfortable lounge area. The main bathroom is modern and has a bath and shower. River Villa 1 boasts with an amazing view of the river, great fishing spots and a large wrap around veranda/patio.

River Villa 2 (x1)
River Villa 2 is a 10 sleeper unit near the waters edge and is situated between River Villa 1 and 3. It consists of a large open plan lounge, dining room and full kitchen area fitted with a microwave, fridge and gas stove. The large glass sliding doors in the lounge will soon boast with a deck onto the river. The main bathroom with modern fittings is downstairs and is fitted with a shower and bath. The first bedroom is downstairs and has a double bed with a private ensuite (with shower). The second bedroom has a double bed with ensuite (bath and shower) as well as a small intimate balcony overlooking the entrance and boma area. Villa 2 also consists of a large loft above the lounge area with 6 single beds. River Villa 2 has a built in Braai/BBQ area and a fire pit. This unit is great for outdoor family and group gatherings

River Villa 3 (x1)
River Villa 3 is an 8 sleeper house with 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, a full Kitchen fitted with a gas stove, microwave and fridge. It has a comfortable lounge with a small breakfast and dining table. The main bedroom has large cupboard space, a king size bed and and en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath. The second bedroom consists of a king size bed and 2 single beds. The third bedroom consists of 2 single beds. The main bathroom has a modern shower. This unit currently makes use of a portable braai. Upgrades to create a private outside area is underway.
