Khaya Umdani is nestled within the expansive 2500-hectare Marloth Park Wildlife Estate, strategically situated between the renowned Kruger National Park to the north and the estate's private game reserve, Lionspruit, to the south. This luxurious house offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across five elegantly appointed en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with individual air conditioning. The residence features a comfortable lounge with a plasma TV offering selected DStv channels, a DVD player, a formal dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry area with a dishwasher. Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious, furnished veranda that overlooks the splash pool, a private waterhole, and an outdoor braai area. Within Marloth Park, wildlife roams freely, though fences are in place to keep out larger animals from Kruger and Lionspruit, such as lions, hippos, elephants, and rhinos. Despite these precautions, there is always a slight possibility that these animals might venture into Marloth Park. Lionspruit offers the opportunity to see four of the Big Five (excluding elephants) on self-guided or professional game drives. Visitors can also enjoy the unique experience of exiting their vehicles at designated picnic spots to savor a champagne breakfast amidst the wild. Staying at Khaya Umdani provides an intimate encounter with nature and wildlife, akin to the experience of sleeping in a treehouse in Kruger, while also affording the luxury and comfort of a well-appointed home.
