Genießen Sie wahre Karoo Gastfreundschaft im Zentrum von Südafrika. The Horse and Mill ist ein perfekter Zwischenstopp zwischen Kapstadt, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg und Durban. Es liegt im Zentrum von Colesberg, in einer ruhigen Einbahnstraße parallel zur Hauptstraße.

Frühstück und Abendessen
Neben der Pension befindet sich das Horse and Mill Pub & Restaurant, ein Pub im alten englischen Stil, der sich im schönen, restaurierten Coach House mit einer echten Pferdemühle befindet. Das Gebäude wurde 1840 erbaut und die Pferdemühle wurde 1891 auf dem Bauernhof "Sewenfontein" errichtet. 1977 wurde sie nach Colesberg gebracht. Sowohl das Gebäude als auch die Mühle haben das National Monument Status.
Hier können Sie Ihren Durst mit einem Schluck von einem anderen Likör oder Kaltgetränk stillen. Das Restaurant bietet eine Auswahl an Gerichten auf der Speisekarte. Karoo Lamm ist unsere Spezialität, deshalb lohnt es sich, eines unserer Lammgerichte zu probieren.

The family unit has two bedrooms. The first bedroom is equipped with a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom is equipped with two single beds. The bathroom is equipped with hand basins, toilet and a shower. The Apartment consists of a room furnished with a double bed and another room furnished with a bunk bed. There is a kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee/tea, rusks and lounge with DSTV bouquet. There is a three-quarter bed located in the lounge suitable for a fifth guest, if required.
