Nicht weit von Nelspruit entfernt liegt die Goldgräberstadt Kaapschehoop, wo Sie die nebligen Abende und die in der Stadt grasenden Herden wilder Pferde in Erinnerungen an die Vergangenheit versetzen werden. Die Berge in und um Nelspruit bieten viele Wanderwege unterschiedlicher Intensität.
